‘Fresh start with Alex’ demo and dining event... After a busy and indulgent festive season it’s hard to get on track straight away, ‘Fresh start with Alex’ taking place on Thursday, 23rd January is sure to help to get you on the right foot for 2019. Taking place in the Alex Findlater & Co. Food & Wine Hall, located in the heart of Limerick City, ‘Fresh start with Alex’ is a fun an informative healthy pizza demonstration led by Head Chef John Mount. Taking inspiration from Limerick favourite Da Vincenzo’s, the authentic Italian eatery situation above the Food & Wine Hall, the healthy pizza demonstration will take place around the state of the art pizza oven in the heart of Alex Findlater & Co. Food & Wine Hall. Sip on a glass of light prosecco as Head Chef John Mount takes you through healthy alternatives to the traditional pizza base, from cauliflower pizza crust, buckwheat pizza bases, pizza bases made using coconut flour and pizzas loaded with seasonal vegetables. Guests will be invited to give pizza making a go as part of the evening, and the best bit - there will be plenty of taste tests along the way!
